We hand-craft an exquisite line of nourishing hand & body lotions, moisturizing body oils, gentle cleansing body washes, aromatic spray misters, and aromatherapy lip balms that make you feel and smell great!
In addition to all that, we offer a growing collection of essential oils, diffusers, diffuser blends, accessories, and information resources designed to help you achieve optimal health and well-being.

Dropwise Essentials was born out of a simple vision: a company that makes safe, high quality plant-based personal care products that are
good for both people and the planet. I wanted to create products that would make people feel so great when they used them that they couldn't help but notice how much better off they were using products that were made from nature rather than made primarily with chemicals in a lab.
What better way to honor Mother Earth than by respectfully using the amazing gifts she gives us in the form of plants—all types of plants from aromatic to medicinal—to make products, instead of using ingredients that require heavy industrial processing and whose impact on our health is virtually unknown. Most commercial personal care companies do the latter,
gambling today's profits on the future health of consumers and the environment, and threatening the viability of both in the process.
I was first turned on to aromatherapy about 10 years ago when I got a little gift set for my birthday from a dear friend. I loved the smell of the different blends and the way the bottles were packaged and presented. That sparked my interest in essential oils and I began researching, acquiring, and playing with them. The more I learned about them and their various properties and effects on health and wellness, the more intrigued I became. Soon enough I wanted to find out about herbs and their applications as well.
The more I experienced first-hand, the magic of plants in their different forms, the more I got hooked on the idea of creating
personal care products that incorporate the synergies of both essential oils and herbs. Five years later, after much experimentation, Dropwise Essentials was established.
People often ask how I came up with the name Dropwise and I explain that with true aromatherapy
"a little goes a long way." When you first study aromatherapy you learn to blend essential oils by the drop to create just the right combinations for the application you choose. If you use too much or too little, the blend will not turn out right and could even have the opposite effect of what you originally intended. While it helps to know a little chemistry when you blend, working with essential oils mostly requires a lot of intuition and ultimately, wisdom. Effective blends, by default, are
powerful and vibrant—utilizing only what is needed to make them just so. Hence, the name, Dropwise.
